Hello Seekers… we made it! Welcome to your first day of 2017.
It is also the first day of my “I Yoga challenge: 365 days of yoga in 2017”. So far, so good. I did the first practice of Adriene’s Yoga Revolution series from YouTube. It was a gentle practice, as we all shook up last night’s festivities from our systems. I must admit that I kind of pushed it aside. I don’t know, I felt a little bit intimidated about the whole compromise I am putting myself into. A whole year of non stop practice. But, as the afternoon swiftly settled in, I just grabbed my laptop, and did the sequence.
As my body warmed up, so did my consciousness. The actual moment I’ve been talking and thinking about, it finally arrived. Breathing and acknowledging the movements into action, answering to a higher sense of self. Slowly but steady. Basic, without complicated poses nor too far reaching stretches.
